Welcome to campus Ansgar

 

Location

The school is located on a lovely campus of about 15 acres on a sunny hill side above the Topdal fjord, located 10 km (6 miles) at the outskirts of the city of Kristiansand (75.000). Kristiansand is the most important city and educational center in the southern part of Norway

The school is located not far from Kjevik Airport, with frequent connections to Copenhagen, Denmark, Amsterdam, the Netherlands and the main domestic destinations. Kristiansand has a ferry terminal with several daily connections to Denmark (3 hours and 15 minutes).

Room per night: NOK 550,-.
Double room per night: NOK 750,-.
Both prices include bedding, breakfast and cleaning.
 
Dining
Breakfast: NOK 80,-.
Lunch: NOK 80,-.
Dinner: NOK 120,-.
 
Packages
Over-night stop Wednesday to Saturday, all included:
Single room per person: NOK 2.170,-.
Double room per person: NOK 1.645,-.
 
All meals during the conference according to program, over-night stop excluded: NOK 760,-.
 

Registration

Registration to hotellpost@ansgarskolen.no. Also speakers should register properly.
Individual food requirements should be mentioned with registration.

Parking

There are two parking areas on campus. Parking is free.

Reception

The reception will be staffed throughout the conference.
 

Meals

The conference meals are served at the school's dining hall.

Library

The school's library is an academic library with emphasis on theology, music, psychology and intercultural studies. The collection consists of approximately 25,000 books, as well as magazines and films.
 

Ansgar Chapel

The Ansgar Chapel is open all days from 08:00 to 22:00 all year.

Internet access

The school has free wireless Internet access throughout the campus. In addition, the library has six desktops connected to the Internet.
